Our Everyday Newborn Essentials List
BABY CLOTHES
We have a lanky baby and found Target, Pure Baby, Rai & Co and Country Road fit him best. Honestly buy a few brands and see what suits your bub.
Enjoy yourself + get a few outfits for photos or outings - most things will however end up covered with bub swaddles or in milk or vomit 🙊
ZIPPY ONESIES - The studs will be the death of you during the night! Just get zippies! You want to make those nappy or outfit changes as efficient as possible because there are alot of them in the beginning.
DON'T GO OVERBOARD - it is true - babies grow quickly! Have a selection of sizes as a starting point and you can add to this once bub arrives + you know what size they are. Start with 6-10x onesies + bodysuits (depending on weather) or both in winter, a few pairs of socks, sun hat or beanie + mits.
BABY SLEEPING BAGS: All babies are different - I would either get 1 Love to Dream - arms up - 1 ergo cocoon and see which the bubba prefers. This was one of the most stressful things for me - getting bubs temperature right + but these are so helpful!
